Nails of the Day

My procrastination skills were at their finest today so instead of working on my dissertation (i get stressed just typing the word...) I washed my hair, took blog photos, read magazines and painted my nails.

I am well and truely ready for spring now and so I thought I'd choose a fun summery colour to brighten up the days a little. The polish I reached for was Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in Greenberry which is a really unique turquoise shade. I always spot people wearing it and can tell it's this exact polish - I've tried shades that look similar in the bottle but nothing matches it once it's on your nails!

I love Barry M polishes, the shade range is great and I think the quality is comparable to higher end brands. I prefer the formula of the Gelly polishes to the normal ones as I like the high shine finish and I think they're definitely worth the extra pound (£3.99 compared to £2.99) although I find with both formulas you do need more than one coat to get a good coverage.

What are you wearing on your nails today?
